Jordan Spieth finished 2nd in his only prior Masters’ start the year before. Coming into 2015 the golf world was looking for its next star they found it at Augusta.
Jordan Spieth dominated the 2015 Masters with a 64 on Thursday and followed it up with a 66 the next day. That Friday marked the final Masters Round in the career of 1984 and 95 Champion Ben Crenshaw. A late Double Bogey on Saturday made Speith’s lead four shots entering the Final Round. Come Sunday nobody really threatened his lead never shrunk below three and at one point he reached -19 which would have set a new Masters scoring record but a bogey at 18 tied him with Tiger Woods record from 97 and Golf had its new Superstar.
