Bantamweight Prospect Tom Duquesnoy Retires

The 25 year old bantamweight announced through his Instagram that he has retired from MMA Competition. The Frenchman had a 16-2 Record as a professional with a 2-1 record in the UFC. He states that he couldn’t put the effort into a sport he wasn’t fully engulfed in. Best of luck to him in his future endeavors.

Neil Magny out of fight against Vicente Luque at UFC Rochester

Neil Magny unfortunately tested positive for a banned substance in an out of competition Drug Test. He took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the test and apologize to Luque. Now, I don’t know if this is one of those drugs that is supposed to be injected of if it was a tainted supplement. All I know is that cooperation with USADA is the best thing Magny can do moving forward. I personally tend to believe this to be an honest mistake of a tainted supplement.

Vicente Luque will now face late replacement Derrick Krantz who is 24-10 as a professional and has been a staple of the Legacy Fighting Alliance.

Yoel Romero Vs. Paulo Costa Finalized for UFC 241

USADA, as our Friend Brendan Schaub says, just take a backseat for this one. These two freaks of nature are going to war on the same night as Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier and This fight might honestly be better. Yoel Romero is a 42 year old Brick Wall with hammers as fists and Paulo Costa is the Brazilian Superman prospect who could impregnate a girl just by winking at her. This’ll be madness.

Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone Vs. Tony Ferguson Finalized for UFC 238

Donald Cerrone took a Unanimous Decision victory over Al Iaquinta earlier in the month and now takes a fight with Tony “El Cucuy” Ferguson on only about a month’s notice. Taking fights on such short notice is nothing new for Cowboy but Tony Ferguson is another kind of animal. Ferguson hasn’t fought since his Corner Stoppage Victory over Anthony Pettis. This is going to be a fun fight and UFC 238 is stacked with fun fights.

Anthony Pettis Vs. Nate Diaz Finalized for UFC 241

Ohhhhh boy. Nate Diaz says he’s back again. This fight makes alot of sense for both guys. Nate and Anthony have bad blood between them. They are going to be fighting at 170 pounds so there won’t be a massive cut and the winner can call out McGregor and get that payday.

Thats all folk’s I’ll have a UFC Rochester preview up later this week.
